Hello there, I’m Madison. I live in Seattle and I build things for the web, mostly ecommerce with Shopify and Magento, plus some Laravel work and the occasional one-off JS tool. I’ve been at it since 2015.

Like a lot of people doing this, I sorta ended up here on accident. I was studying speech-language pathology, but growing up I’d built custom layouts for my silly little online profiles (Neopets or Gaia Online, anyone?) before I even knew that was a real skill. Later on I began sinking more and more of my evenings into learning webdev, and eventually I realized I could build a career around it.

Away from the keyboard I’m usually reading, listening to a podcast, out on a hiking trail, or checking out a new coffee shop. I like traveling too, especially to the southwest which is about as far from Seattle weather as you can get without a passport 🥲
